Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro

A comfortable, well-built flagship earbud with excellent noise isolation and smooth, warm sound, held back by short 6-hour battery life, Samsung-locked features, and only incremental gains over the previous generation.

Samsung's best-sounding earbuds yet, with clear, detailed and agile sound and a strong feature set, though they sound best with a recent Samsung phone and trail the class leaders in rhythm and dynamics.

A strong-sounding, comfortable flagship earbud that is best for Galaxy phone owners, held back by middling noise cancellation and transparency, no multipoint, and many features locked to Samsung devices.

4.5/5

Superb-sounding earbuds with excellent noise cancellation and a refined look, held back by the same fit, ear-tip, and battery shortcomings as the previous generation, plus a strong preference for Samsung phones.

A very comfortable, great-sounding pair of Android-oriented earbuds with solid noise cancellation and top-tier water resistance, held back by mediocre call quality, laggy controls, and limited features on iPhone.

8/10

A polished, comfortable, feature-rich Samsung flagship that sounds lively and handles calls and noise control well, held back mainly by modest battery life, finicky controls, and an Apple-like design; it is the best match for Samsung phone owners.

A solid, comfortable and well-featured flagship earbud with good noise canceling that is best appreciated by Samsung phone owners, since many standout features are locked to Samsung devices and the sound needs EQ tweaking.

The Buds 4 Pro are a modest but meaningful upgrade over the Buds 3 Pro, with better sound, stronger noise cancelling, and tougher build, making them the top pick for people who use Samsung devices, though not worth upgrading to if you just bought the previous model.

The Galaxy Buds 4 Pro offer very good sound and excellent noise cancellation, but the tuning is warm, a bit hazy and sizzly, and fit and comfort vary with ear size.

The reviewer finds the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro to be a standout choice for sound quality, with excellent ANC and a refreshed design, though features are tied to Samsung phones and gains over the previous generation are modest.

~8/10

The Buds 4 Pro modestly but meaningfully improve on the Buds 3 Pro with smoother sound, better noise cancellation and clearer calls, making them the top pick for Galaxy phone owners but a poor fit for anyone else because key features need Samsung hardware.

Samsung's best earbuds yet are comfortable, big-sounding and have improved noise-cancelling, making them an excellent all-rounder especially for Galaxy owners, though some high-frequency sounds leak through and battery life trails AirPods Pro 3.

A strong, comfortable and well-rounded pair that is Samsung's best earbuds to date, with excellent noise cancelling and clear sound, though it only truly shines for owners of Galaxy phones and trails Sony's top model.
