Who we are

Product Review (product-review.co) is published by Barcelia LLC ("we", "us"). We're responsible for the personal data described here. Contact: [email protected].

What we collect, and why

• Usage analytics. Google Analytics 4 records which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are (city or country level), device and browser type, and how people reach us. We use it to see which pages help people and what to improve. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, Google Analytics only stores cookies if you accept them.
• Privacy-friendly analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies and without tracking you across sites.
• Server and security logs. Our host, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP address, browser and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
• Your emails. If you email us, we keep your message and address to reply and to follow up on corrections.
• Searches on the site run in your browser; we don't store what you type.

Shops and affiliate links

If you click a link to a shop such as Amazon, that shop may set its own cookies to credit us with a commission. That happens on their site and under their privacy policy; we don't receive your name or what else you buy.

Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

Analytics cookies: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Cookieless analytics, security logs and replying to your emails: our legitimate interest in running a useful, safe site and answering you.

Sharing

We share data only with the providers who run the site for us (Google for analytics, Cloudflare for hosting, security and email forwarding), or where the law requires it. We don't sell or rent personal data, and we don't use it for targeted advertising.

How long we keep it

Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months. Emails are kept as long as needed to handle your request, and corrections correspondence for as long as the correction is relevant.

International transfers

Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. They use safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where required.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or California's CCPA/CPRA), you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent. Email [email protected]; we'll respond within 30 days. We don't sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

You can turn analytics cookies off at any time from the cookie settings link, or with your browser settings.

Children

Product Review is for adults and isn't directed at children under 13 (16 in the EEA). We don't knowingly collect their data.
